It Is Me Dropping Bombs
Yo Mita
The sun light is coming into the dining room
in the morning
I spread the newspaper
Immediately the siren starts ringing aloud.
I turn on TV
The sound of explosion blasts out and the
smokes rise up.
I start washing my hands in the bath room
On the water I am bending over
I see a child's face covered with blood.
It cannot be real
Here I am so far from the desert.
I try to sleep with my futon pulling over
my head
I cannot sleep
I open my eyes slowly
suddenly iron blocks are falling down the
ceiling..
Oh, I cannot escape it by any means
When I hold up my hands against the
darkness like in X-rays
Palms covered with blood come up to
be seen clearly.
It's me
I am dropping the bombs.
